The TISAX® label stands for Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange and is a standardized security standard for the automotive industry. It is used to verify and certify companies' information security measures.
An information security management system (ISMS) provides companies with improved data security, strengthens customer and partner confidence, enables efficient collaboration and can serve as a competitive advantage.
The TISAX® label is required by many OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) and suppliers in the automotive industry. Companies that want to work with these partners should obtain the TISAX® label.
TISAX® certification involves a comprehensive security assessment by authorized assessors. These assessors check the company's information security measures against the TISAX® requirements and award the TISAX® label if the assessment is successful.
The duration of the certification process can vary depending on the size and complexity of the company. Typically, it can take several months to a year to implement all required measures, conduct internal audits and complete external certification. The exact time depends on individual circumstances.
