Is the external CISO liable for information security?

No. Responsibility and decisions remain with your management. Your CISO advises, steers implementation, and reports regularly so that management can meet its responsibilities.

What internal resources do I need?
+

We take on 80% of the ISMS effort. You need an internal coordinator. Your departments will also spend time implementing the technical and organizational measures that result from the ISMS.

Does the CISO work remotely or on site?
+

Collaboration is mostly remote, through regular check-ins and the Digital Compliance Office. You agree on on-site meetings with your CISO during the introductory call.

Is the internal audit included?
+

Yes. A second SECJUR expert conducts it so that it stays independent of your CISO. You receive a report with clearly rated nonconformities.

We already have an ISMS. Will SECJUR take it over?
+

Yes. Your CISO moves the existing ISMS into the Digital Compliance Office, checks it for gaps, and develops it further.
