What is the EU AI Act?

The EU AI Act is the world’s first comprehensive regulation on artificial intelligence.
Since February 2, 2025, it has been legally binding for all companies that develop, provide, or use AI – regardless of industry or company size. The purpose of the Act is to ensure the safe, transparent, and responsible use of AI in Europe. To achieve this, the EU AI Act sets clear requirements: from classifying AI systems and fulfilling documentation obligations to employee training.

FAQs about the EU AI Act Trainings

Who should receive training?

The EU AI Act requires all companies that develop, provide, or use AI to train their relevant employees. This includes not only developers and IT teams but also departments such as procurement, product management, marketing, HR, legal, compliance, and management. Employees outside of technical teams may also violate regulatory obligations when using AI tools – which is why training needs to be applied broadly.

When does the EU AI Act apply – and what does it mean for us?

The EU AI Act came into effect on February 2, 2025. From that date onward, binding requirements apply to all companies across Europe. In practice, this means organizations must demonstrate that they regularly train employees on the law’s requirements, document internal processes, and define clear responsibilities. Non-compliance can result in severe penalties – similar to the GDPR (up to €35 million or 7% of global annual revenue).

How do the trainings support ISO 42001?

ISO/IEC 42001 is the international standard for AI management systems. Our trainings cover essential elements required for successful certification – such as obligations, roles, risk, and governance topics. You also receive participation certificates and reports that can be used directly as evidence for internal audits or external certification bodies. This saves you time in preparation and reduces the risk of gaps in your documentation.

In which languages are the trainings available?

By default, trainings are available in German and English. Upon request, we also provide additional languages, making it easy for international teams to participate. This simplifies implementation in multinational organizations.
